As a psychologist I am acutely aware of the barriers that patients face in accessing care. Discrimination against people living with obesity threatens lives and that is unacceptable.

I am delighted to be a part of the OEN UK Steering Group. Weight bias is unacceptable – especially amongst healthcare professionals and we must do everything we can to fight it.

OEN UK is an important voice in the fight against weight-bias and discrimination.
