Why I joined OEN
My mother has been obese most of her adult life and has consequently suffered not just from health inequalities but the associated co-morbidities which we all as a family have had to rally around to support her mentally as well as physically. This journey is still ongoing and piqued my interest in joining OEN, a charity which advocates the rights of people with overweight and obesity, ensuring they are treated with dignity and respect within a caring environment .
