Brienny Andrews is a young woman who has struggled with overweight since childhood. She tried numerous different types of diets and at the age of 16 decided to have weight loss surgery. Whilst not regretting this decision, she has come to understand that adapting to life after surgery can be challenging.
Brienny was part of the original Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) group, which led to the development of OEN UK. She is keen to use her personal insights into child and adolescent obesity to help other young people and their families.
In her spare time, Brienny is an avid reader of crime novels and enjoys spending time with her family, particularly her young nephew.
